Leading fashion store footprint, V-Mart Retail Limited posted strong earning numbers for the Q3FY19 with profit mounting 14% to Rs 42 crore buoyed by strong festive sales during Oct-Dec 2018.
The fashion company had reported a net profit of Rs 37 crore, a year before. Revenue from operations arrived at Rs.467.55 crore for the quarter ended Dec 2018 as against Rs. 368.93 for the matching quarter last year up 26.73% YoY. Earning-per-share or EPS were Rs22.99 for the quarter ended Dec 31, 2018 as against with an EPS of Rs20.21, on yoy.
The stock reacted positively with this result achievement. On Wednesday during first afternoon hours of trade, the stock of V-Mart Retail was trading at Rs. 2,724.90 per share and made an intraday high of Rs 2,734.60 and an intraday low of Rs 2,700 on the NSE.
V-Mart Retail opened 10 new stores during the quarter and has more openings planned in the last quarter this financial year. Its domain verticals include apparel, general merchandise and kirana bazaar.
