Following top companies stocks on the Nifty index are found to be on upper circuit through the week, based on weekly analysis of stocks:
Axis Bank Ltd: India’s third largest private sector bank Axis Bank shares increased 7.6% this week. The stock closed on Friday at Rs. 666 per share, higher by Rs2.75 or 0.41% on Friday’s closing.
Tata Motors Ltd: Tata Group subsidiary company Tata Motor’s stock gained 5.5% on a weekly basis, but the stock ended lower on Friday at Rs 179.80, down by 3.20%.
ITC Limited: Kolkata-based FMCG major ITC’s shares jumped 4.9% through the week and also emerged as the second top Nifty gainer on Friday rising 1.76% or Rs. 5.10 to Rs 294.70 per share. Nifty FMCG index went up 0.61 percent at 30,759.05 in which Emami emerged top index gainer.
Bharti Airtel Ltd: Indian global telecom company Airtel’s shares rose 4 percent this week, but settled Friday’s trade lower at Rs 333.80 per share, down by 1.04%
UPL Limited: Chemical industrial company, United Phosphorous Ltd or UPL gained 3.6% this week. The stock surged 1.10% or Rs. 8.50 on closing Friday at Rs 781.60 per share.
