Indian stock market indices opened higher on Friday with Nifty trading above 11,650 level. Indian rupee ascended 9ps at 69.07per USdollar against previous close rate of 69.16.
Crude Oil prices fell on Friday with Brent futures dropped 0.4% to USD69.14 a barrel. International benchmark WTI crude was down 1 cent at USD62.09.
At 9:40am, the BSE Sensex was up 190-points at 38875-level, while NSE Nifty is up 59.60points at 11657.50.
Cipla, IndusInd Bank, Yes Bank, Tech Mahindra, Infosys were among major gainers on the Nifty50, while losers are Asian paints, HeroMoto Crop, Bharti Airtel, Britannia and Dr. Reddy’s.
All the sectoral indices, except Nifty FMCG, were trading in green led by metal, IT, metal, Pharma, auto and bank leading gains.
