Leading Infrastructure Company SMPL Infra Ltd said it secured four new orders consisting of water supply & irrigation projects worth Rs883.00-Crore from Gujarat, Manipur and Punjab.
The order received from Gujrat is worth Rs723crore for the implementation of Phase-III of the SAUNI Yojana.
The company also bagged another order for the construction of water distribution network together with sewerage management system and storm water drainage network for Ludhiana Smart City. The project signed via joint venture with Shristi Infrastructure Development is worth around Rs103Crores.
Also, In Manipur the company received two orders. One from Senapati district which is valued Rs33.00crore and the other from Churachandpur worth Rs22-crore for the augmentation of water supply system.
Reacting to this development, the stock of SMPL Infra was seen in upper circuit on Monday’s trading session. SMPL Limited opened at Rs31.50 per share and registered a high of Rs.36.50 and also dipped to a low of Rs30.40 per share. At 13:10 the stock was trading higher by 11.96% at Rs34.70
Meanwhile, the benchmark indices pared all of morning gains and trade flat with BSE Sensex at 38014 down by 9 points and Nifty at 11433, up by 6 points.
