Shares Closed With Profits, Stocks To Buy Tomorrow

Index pivotals ended on a positive terrain on Friday after two repeated sessions of losses, lifted by a quick surge in the end hours of the sessions. The BSE’s Sensitive index ended at 38,862-mark, up 177.51-pts, with Tata Steel Ltd being the top performer and SBI being the biggest loser.

The Nifty50 index of the NSE closed above at 11,665.95, up 68-points, with Tata Steel at the top, up 3.74%, followed by Ultratech, Bajaj finance, Hindalco and JSW Steel. On the other hand, Power Grid, Britannia and Zeel were top laggards of the index.

Metal stocks advanced the most, with Nifty metal index rising 1.97%, followed by Nifty realty and Nifty IT and Nifty bank.  Tata Steel, APL Apollo, Jindal Steel, Hindalco and Vedanta were top performers in the Nifty metal index, up in the range of 2.73 to 3.77 percent.

Banking and financial sectors also ended higher with the Nifty Bank gaining 0.60% with RBL, Federal Bank, IndusInd Bank and HDFC Bank, advanced upto 3.62%

Godrej Properties hit new 52-week intraday high on taking majority control in Wonder Space Properties. The stock closed at Rs979 per share, up Rs.61.30 or 6.68percent.
