The Indian stock market indices turned volatile to trade off day’s peak levels on Wednesday.
At 12-noon, the benchmarks, Sensex traded 384-points higher at 30,451.84 and the Nifty-fifity gained 108.35-pts to 8,900.55. Broader markets also advanced with the Nifty Smallcap and Midcap-100 index surging over 3-percent each, while all the Nifty sectoral indices were trading with 1 to 2.7-pc gains.
Buying demands were active in the Nifty Pharma and FMCG indices amid the lockdown led by COVIOD-19. Both indices gained upto 2.7-percent.
GAIL, Bharti infratel, Hindustan Unilever, Mahindra& Mahindra, Cipla and HCL Tech were among major Nifty gainers while TCS, Grasim, Airtel, Reliance and Titan Company were the top losers. Track the best stock tips today, top stock updates from here.
