Sensex, Nifty started Green, IT, Pharma stock rise


Stock benchmark indices opened higher on Tuesday first morning session amid positive global cues, with the Nifty above 8K mark, and later fluctuate with gains and losses.

At 10.10-am, the BSE Sensex was down by 152 points at 25828, while the NSE Nifty stood at 7572-mark, lower by 38 points.

Infosys up 6.55-pc, Hindustan Unilever-up by 6.27-pc, AdaniPorts-up by 5.68-pc, Britannia and TechMahindra were up by 5-pc each, and were among major Nifty gainers. Avail the best intraday stock Tips from the expert.

On the other hand, IndusInd Bank slipped the most down by 25 percent, followed by HeroMotoCorp, Bajaj Finseve, BPCL, and Bharti Infratel which were down by 8 and 5 percent being top losers in the Nifty.

Sectoral indices are combined with the Nifty FMCG, IT and Pharma witness buying, upto 3 percent, while the Nifty Bank and Private Bank indices dropped the most, down by over 5 percent each.
