Indian stock markets opened on a strong note on Friday. The BSE Sensex is trading moving up by 257 points while the NSE Nifty is trading higher at 11426-mark up by 83 points at 10.00 am.
Except FMCF and metal sectors all sectoral indices of the Nifty have opened in green with Nifty Bank Private/PSU banks leading the pack of gainers.
Shares of Coal India Limited fall 1-percent at this time after the company approved the II-nd interim dividend of Rs5.85 per equity share.
Shares of Tech Mahindra rose 0.44% after company’s arm acquired 100% stake in Japan’s K-Vision for usd1.5 million.
The most active stocks today are Reliance Industries, Kotak Bank, Yes Bank and IndusInd Bank.
Crude Oil prices were steady on Friday, aided as production cuts led by OPEC. Brent crude oil futures were at USD67.15/pb. U.S WTI crude futures were at USD 58.55pb, down 6-cents from their last day’s settlement.
