Shares of most Oil marketing companies were trading in the green in Wednesday’s session with their sectoral Energy index on NSE trading higher.
Meanwhile, Crude Oil prices are a tad higher after data indicated that US-Crude inventories declined more than expected, last week.
Nifty Energy index was trading higher at 16,160.00, up by 0.25% during mid-market session.
Shares of Reliance infra trade higher by 2%, Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL) up by 0.93%, Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) up 0.86%, Indian Oil Corp (IOC) 0.84%, and Oil&Natural Corp (ONGC) up by 0.6%, among stocks in Nifty Energy index.
PowerGrid and NTPC were also trading in the green up to 0.8%, however, Reliance Industries, Tata Power and Gail India were seeing some selling pressure.
The NSE Nifty50 index was up 3% at 11913-level, while the BSE was up 0.5% points at 39,836-levesl at 12.25pm.
