Markets trade lower, Top losing stock today

Key benchmark indices drifted lower on Monday morning led by weak Asian stocks. At 9.50 am, the BSE Sensex was down 191 points at 36,355, while the NSE Nifty50 index was down 74 points at 10,868-mark.

Tata Steel, Cipla, Kotak Bank and Wipro have gained the most, whereas Indiabulls Housing finance, Dr. Reddy’s Lab, M&M and Gail-India were losing in the Nifty.

Barring IT index, all the sectoral indices are trading in loss, in which Nifty metal, Pharma, PSU Bank have fallen the most over 1 percent in range.  Nifty Auto index falls 1.82 percent led by M&M, Asok Leyland and TVS motors.

Among other major stocks, Tata Steel trade higher 1.44 percent after the company on Friday announced net profit 54.3 percent to Rs 1,753.07 crore.
