Indian equity markets opened Friday’s session lower, in line with weak Asian markets trends amidst rise in COVID19.
After falling over 291 points in early trade, now at 9.55-am, the Sensex stood lower at 28017-level, lower by 247-pts and the Nifty at 8179-level down by 74-pts.
Among the losers in the Nifty were IndusInd Bank, KotakBank, Titan Company, Wipro and JSW Steel. On the other hand, the stocks that gained the most were Cipla, Mahindra& Mahindra, Gail India, ONGC, and ITC.
Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) stock rallied near 3 percent on the back of a strong rise in crude oil prices. Coal India, Asian Paints, Titan, HeroMotroCorp and ICICI Bank are aerosol trading lower between 3 to 4 percent. Track the best stock to watch today, top market updates from here.
Among sectors, except Nifty Pharma and Realty, all were in the red with the Nifty Bank/Private bank, IT and Metal fell the most, down upto 3 percent.
