Stock Market benchmark indices opened higher for the third successive day, on Monday led by strong global signals.
The Indian rupee traded higher by 11-ps at 71.68 against greenback, as agasint Friday’s close 71.79/US.

Bharti Airtel, BPCL, Grasim, Bharti Infratel and Zee Entertainment were among major gainers on the Nifty50 pack of stocks, whereas Yes bank, Gail India, M&M, Coal India and ONGC led the losses.
On the sectoral watch on the Nifty, the Media, Metal, Pharma, PSU Bank, private and and Bank Nifty were trading in the green with major gains in Pharma & PSU Bank both went up near 1%.
Among the 30-scrip of Sensex, and the 50-scrip Nifty together, Bharti Airtel was the biggest gainer rising about 3% at Rs. 405.25- per share at Rs.404.20
IN the commodity space, crude oil prices were little changed today following strong gains in the last week with investors shrugging off concerns over steadily growing oil supplies.
