Key indices opened on a flat start on Monday as some selling pressure weighed in select stocks. At 9.48-am, the Sensex was trading flat at 41681-level, just up by 7 points whereas the NSE Nifty traded at 12274-mark, up by 3 points.
The BSE Sensex will be re-equipped today, 23-December, by the stocks of Titan Company, Nestle India, Ultra Tech Cement, adding to the BSE Sensex while TataMotors, Tata-Motors DVR, Yes Bank, Vedanta will be removed from the BSE Sensex.

Except for the Nifty PSU Bank index which traded mildly lower, all the sectoral indices are trading in the green with major buying in the Nifty metal, Pharma, Realty and Media.
The Nifty metal index traded higher by 0.91% led by gains in APL Apollo, JSW Steel and Vedanta which were up by 1 to 2.50%
The Nifty Realty index traded higher by 0.36% led by gains in IndiaBulls Real Estate, Phonix and Brigade, while Godrej Properties, SunTech and Mahindra Life Lifespace were losers in the index.
