Key benchmark indices opened higher for second straight day, with the BSE Sensex at 36,432-levels up 114 points and the NSE Nifty demonstrates 30 points at 10,917 led by strong global cues.
On the sectoral space, Nifty IT, FMCG and pharma indices decline, while Bank Nifty, Financials, PSU Bank, Metal, auto and realty rise in trade during morning session.
Indiabulls Housing Finance, Zee Entertainment, IndusInd Bank, and Grasim were the top gainers on the Nifty50 at this time, while Tech Mahindra, UPL, TCS, Adani Ports were trading in lower circuit.
Out of the 50 scrips compiled by the NSE, 21 stocks were trading in the loss while 29 were trading in the green.
Most Asian stock markets were trading up driven by positive sentiment to China indicating more stimulus measures to expect, including larger tax cuts.
