Share benchmarks opened higher for the fourth straight day on Thursday with the Bank Nifty hit record high of 29,031-mark, led by YES Bank and IndusInd Bank.
The Indian rupee opened lower by 15-paise at 69.67 per US dollar on Thursday against previous close 69.53.
At 10.00 am, The BSE Sensex moved up 93points higher at 37,845 while the Nifty50 is trading 19-pts higher at 11,360.
Yes Bank, IndiaBulls HF, IndusInd Bank, IOC were among major Nifty gainers while key losers are Untratech, HeroMotoCorp, Adani Ports and Bajaj Auto.
Nifty Auto index is trading 0.68% lower dragged by HeroMoto Corp and Tata Motors.
Among stocks, Zee Entertainment jumps over 1.6% after reports of Sony buying 20percent stake, while Jubilant Foodworks rises over 1.8 percent after block deal.
