Domestic shares closed flat on Monday led by strong rally in PSU stocks amid rising cases of the COVID19. Besides, a fall in crude oil prices and weak global markets also spoiled investor sentiment.
The BSE Sensex closed at 31,648, higher by 59 points with HDFC Bank-up by 3.91-pc being the top gainer in the Sensex, followed by Infosys-up 3.75-pc and NTPC-up 3.67-pc. In the Nifty top gainers were Tata Motors, SunPharma, HDFC Bank and Infosys.

Shares of Sun-TV gained for the eighth consecutive session today adding more than 38 percent during eight trading sessions.
Shares of Shriram Transport Finance declined 1 14.72-pc in trade after S&P Global Ratings revised outlook to negative. Likewise, ICICI Bank share price declined 3.67-pc after S&P revised the Bank’s outlook to negative from stable.
