Key benchmark Indices opened a little bit lower on Friday, with NSE’s Nifty50 breaking the 11,000 level in the opening. Also, the negative sentiments going on across the globe show stress at the opening as global growth worries came to irk markets after the European Central Bank cut growth forecast.
At the time of writing, The BSE benchmark Sensex was down 64points to 36661 levels, while the NSE Nifty was down 32points to 11,025 levels.
NTPC, Eicher Motors, Titan, M&M and TCS were major gainers on the Nifty50, whereas Wipro, Tata Motors, Hindalco, IOC and JSW Steel were the top dragged on the index.
Among sectors, only Nifty PSU Bank index was trading in green. Nifty Metal, Realty and IT were the worst performing sectors during morning trade.
Tata Motors falls 3.54percnt after JLR sales decline. The stock quotes at Rs182.60per share up by Rs6.70.
