Kaveri Seeds’ Stock Rises Upon Setting Up Facility In Telangana

Kaveri Seed Company Limited, one of lndia’s premier seed companies, today announced its setting up of corn cob drying facility at Molangur village in Karimnagar of Telangana.

The new cob drying facility has a capacity of 1456-Tonnes per cycle having process strength around 400 tonnes of fresh corn cobs per day to transform them into seeds. The facility costs Rs20 crore, approx and is spread around 15 acres of land.

Established in 1976, Kaveri Seeds is one of India’s premier agriculture companies specializing in hybrid seeds. It is also one of the leading growing seed company in India with a large network of more than 15000 distributors & dealers spread across the country.

Shares of Kaveri Seed Co Ltd is trading at Rs454.75 up by Rs14.15 or 3.21% on the BSE.  On the NSE Kaveri Seed’s share price quoted at Rs455.85 up by Rs15.75 or 3.58% during first afternoon hours of trade.

In comparison, BSE Sensex quoted at 38275.91 up 180 points and the NSE Nifty at 11505.30 up 43.10 points at 3.00pm Tuesday.
