Jet Airways Gets Rs2050-Cr Loan, Stock Up

Shares of  the Air carrier Jet Airways India Ltd  gained over 3 percent on BSE and NSE, on news reports that the company has obtained a fresh loan of Rs2,050 crore from Punjab National Bank (PNB).

Further, according to Mint report, the airline had also raised foreign currency term loans of Rs1,100-Crore and a non-fund based credit facility of Rs950-crore from PNB.

Reacting to this development, the stock rose registered a high of Rs255 per share.  At 10.45 am, the stock was trading at Rs249.35 per share up Rs6.10 or 2.51percent, In comparison, the BSE Sensex gained 291-points at 36,963 and the Nifty up by 97 points at 11132.75.
