The domestic currency, rupee, declined in the early trade on Wednesday, 11-September. It opened lower by 14ps at 71.84 per USD against Monday’s close 71.70.

The currency has extended gains for the fourth consecutive day earlier. It had settled at 71.72 Vs the USD on Friday. Rising crude oil prices and foreign fund reportedly outflows weighed on the Rupee.
