The shares of ICICI Bank have touched its intraday high level at Rs.435.35 per share, up by 4.7pc till mid-session, Monday. It is observed as ICICI Bank being the biggest daily percentage gain since about two month.
The rise in ICICI share price emerged after the bank on Saturday posted June-quarter net profit of Rs.1908-Cr, as reported earlier, against a loss of 119.55-Cr, year ago.
The rise in ICICI Bank is for a third consecutive session today. The stock opened at Rs.433 and touched a high and low of Rs.435.35 and 425.30 respectively.
At 2.20pm, the stock is quoting at Rs.432 per share up 3.90% from its previous closing on the NSE, while benchmark Nifty scaled at 11199.80 down by 84-points and the Sensex stood at 37712 down by 172-points.
Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index has slipped 0.5% at 29,341.35, but major gains were taken by ICICI Bank followed by PNB.
