HCL Technologies Limited (HCL), a leading global technology company, on Wednesday announced the acquisition of Strong-Bridge Envision a US headquartered digital transformation consulting company, in a deal for USD45 million. With this acquisition, the latter will become part of HCL’s global Digital and analytics business, HCL Technologies said in a statement. The acquisition is expected to be completed by April 2019, it added.
Strong-Bridge Envision is a digital consulting company focusing in customer experience strategy, business revolution, and change management.
Looking to the stock movements of HCL Technologies Limited, it seems that investors are yet to inspire with this development, as the share movement of HCL Tech is now trading in lower circuit.
At 11.10 am, shares of HCL quoted at Rs1012 per share lower by Rs16, or 1.58percent against previous close of Rs1028.35 on the NSE. In comparison, the Sensex trade at 37802 higher by 0.1 percent and Nifty at 11345.60 up 3percent.
