The price of precious-metal Gold continue their upward spiral at Rs .9,000 per ten grams of 24-Ct in some Indian metros on Tuesday.
At Chennai metro, the metal was scaled at Rs.39,490 on Tuesday, while in New Delhi its rates were over Rs.38,500 per ten grams.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) Gold futures of October 2019 delivery were trading at Rs.38,530-level and touched an intraday peak level at Rs.38,585.
In the overseas market, gold prices scaled to its highest price in over six years. Spot gold climbed to hit USD1,518.03, its peak since April 2013.
Following similar trend, Silver prices advanced 1.77% to Rs.44440 per kg at futures trade on Tuesday on account of fresh positions generated by speculators.
On the MCX, silver for delivery in September went up by Rs.774, or 1.77%, to Rs.44440 per kg in a business turnover of 8382 lots.
