Share price of Bajaj Auto Limited rose over 2% on the BSE and NSE irrespective of company reported 2pc declines in vehicle sales in India.
This is after Bajaj Auto having reported a fall in its domestic sales to Rs.2.29 lakh units as against 2.34 lakh unites reported in the corresponding period year ago. Total sales for the auto-maker reportedly remained 4,04,624 units in June-2019 as against 4,04,429 units sold in June-2018.
In the similar trend, Eicher Motors share price has also advanced over 2% today on the BSE and NSE, in spite of sharp fall in commercial vehicle sales. According to the report, Eicher Motor’s commercial vehicle sales declined 28.5% to 4569 units in June 2019, v/s 6390 units vehicles sold in same month last year.
Stocks in Review: Bajaj Auto Ltd during mid-market at 12.30pm, quoted at Rs.2892.35 up by Rs65.75 or 2.33% from its previous closing of Rs.2827.05 on the NSE. The stock has touched an intraday high at Rs.2904.95 and a low of Rs.2836.20 on the NSE.
EicherMotors share price at the same time quoted at Rs.19,537.55 up by Rs.398.75 or 2.08% from its previous closing of Rs19,138.80 on the NSE. The stock has touched an intraday high at Rs19,599 and a low of Rs.19,200 on the NSE.
