Stock Market opens higher on Wednesday with positive global cues. The BSE Sensex is up 99.36 Points at 37,390-mark, while NSE Nifty is up 27.70 points at 11,306-level in the morning hours. The domestic currency, rupee opened higher by 27 paise at 72.71 per dollar on Wednesday against previous close 72.98.
ONGC, Cipla, Sun Pharma, Hindalco and Asian Paint have started trading with gains on the NSE, while Titan Zee Entertainment, Power Grid, HDFC and Hindustan Petroleum were trading in red.
On the NSE sectorally, Nifty Financial Service, Nifty FMCG, Nifty media, Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty reality were trading down.
